Notes from the Director
We at Astoria International Film Festival will mark our success with the passing of fall into winter season in our small corner of the northern Oregon coast.
Our third year of producing the Astoria International Film Festival was well attended, and our VIP event, Meet the Filmmakers, was hosted by our headquarters hotel, the beautiful Cannery Pier---the place to be.
The screening team is already out looking for films for next year; but fret not, all you film lovers. We are once again producing Astoria International Film Festival's Winter Series, to be viewed at the historic Liberty Theater, sponsored by The Daily Astorian, Astoria-Warrenton Area Chamber of Commerce, Liberty Theater, Cannery Pier Hotel, and WolfPk.

The 2010 Winter Series will be screened in January, February and March of 2010 (see winter series schedule). So please join us for an array of classic films on those gray, rainy Sunday afternoons for which Astoria is so famous!
